Groups

Group therapy, support groups, training groups, and classes offer community, healing, and connection. Most of our groups meet weekly. Therapeutic groups are cost-effective, and they can add extra support to your existing wellness plan.

Current Groups

Radically Queer DBT is a twice-weekly skills group for queer, trans, and neurodivergent people. It combines ‘DBT Lite’ skills for mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance with neuroaffirming frameworks, somatic practices, expressive arts, and queer and trans resilience perspectives. (Basically, we are queering DBT.)

The Good Grief Autism Support Group is a weekly community group for adults who are navigating grief about Autism. Although there are lots of reasons for joy and pride in being autistic, there is also a lot of room for grief at past, present, and future losses. This non-clinical group provides community support in an neuroaffirming, intentional space.

Past Groups

Grace Unfolding was a weekly group for trans women and transfeminine people that I ran for seven years, 2018-2025. We talked about gender transition, coming out, relationships, technical support, community resources, and whatever members brought to the table.

I co-founded and co-facilitated a Non-Binary/Genderqueer weekly support group from 2018-2022. My colleague and co-facilitator Kaden Winterkorn took over the group in 2022.

I founded and co-facilitated a Nonbinary/Genderqueer peer-facilitated support group from 2016-2017. One of the outcomes from that group was a participatory action research project.

Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention – A colleague and I organized and co-facilitated a weekly MBRP group at our Master’s internship.

DBT Skills Training – Along with a colleague, I co-facilitated a weekly outpatient DBT skills training group during my master’s internship at Noeticus. (This was where I trained in trauma-informed DBT.)
